Who are the groups for?

Our groups are for parents with children under the age of 5 who would like the opportunity to meet informally with other parents in the area and whose children perhaps don’t have the opportunity to mix and play with others their own age. Places are limited and families must all be referred to Home-Start. We accept self-referrals. If you wish to be referred or are interested in learning more please contact us.

What do they do?

Members of the Home-Start Angus staff team alongside volunteers run our free family groups throughout Angus.

Some of the activities we enjoy at our groups are:

• Messy Play
• Bookbug sessions
• Cooking with parents
• Sensory play
• Free play with age-appropriate toys
• Craft activities
• Visits to local parks
• Invited guests to talk about other local services available
• Singing and rhyme time

Healthy snacks and drinks are provided.
